A bag filter, also known as a fabric filter or bag house, is a critical component in industrial air pollution control. It consists of numerous fabric filter bags that remove particulates from the air or gas stream. The polluted air passes through the fabric, which traps the particles and allows clean air to exit. Bag filters can capture particles as small as 1 micron, achieving collection efficiencies of up to 99.9%. A wet bath scrubber, also known as a wet scrubber, is a device used to remove pollutants from a gas stream by means of liquid. It is highly effective in capturing both particulate matter and gaseous pollutants. The polluted gas stream is brought into contact with a scrubbing liquid, usually water, which absorbs or reacts with the pollutants, resulting in cleaner emissions. Capable of removing both particulate matter and gaseous pollutants, including sulfur dioxide (SO₂), hydrochloric acid (HCl), and ammonia (NH₃). Effective across a wide range of industrial applications, including power plants, chemical processing, and manufacturing.
